We've got a fantastic on site cafe, The Gastropod run by the team from Snail's Pace. This family friendly outfit started life with their off Grid eco-cafe & bike hire on the famous Camel Trail (www.snailspacecafe.co.uk) near St Breward but have now expanded to running the ever popular tipi cafe sited at the far end of the meadow camping area. The cafe is of course open to everyone - whether or not you're staying with us - but we do ask that you leave your doggies at home as we're a pet free campsite. If this makes life really difficult for you, cafe staff will give you a bowl of water for your dog which you can take up to the car.

The Gastropod roll out freshly made seasonal food in a laid back setting. Offering hangover-busting breakfasts to wedding guests, lunches and homemade treats to tipi dwellers & campers using locally sourced ingredients from farm to fishing boat, they aim to let you relax while family & friends  enjoy everything that you haven't had to make - and no one will have to do the washing up!

Typical menus include excellent ground coffee, full Cornish breakfast with local bacon & free range eggs (& the veggie option has really good veggie sausages), herbs & salad leaves grown in the cafe polytunnel,  houmous & tapas, home made scones & clotted cream, & don't forget the knock out Croatian orange & almond cake (they like to pick up ideas for the cafe when they travel...). oh & don't forget to take the children for supper on the wood fired oven pizza nights!
