We have three seasons, low, mid and peak; low being March & April and September & October. Mid lasts from early May until the beginning of the school summer holidays in mid July and peak lasts from mid July to the end of August. Prices vary from season, as do the private site premiums, our per capita charge remains the same.

The cost of your holiday will comprise three parts;

The weekly rental of the tipi, depending on season
A per capita charge – this covers the consumption element of your holiday, fuel, water, supplies, environmental impact, and applies to adults and children aged 3 and over. Children aged 2 and under pay no per capita charge.
Private site premiums – these apply in mid and peak seasons only and vary according to size of tipi and season.

We also offer short breaks in low and mid seasons. The minimum stay is 2 nights, with extra nights available up to a maximum of 5 as per the price schedule below. Subsequent nights are charged pro-rata on a weekly booking tariff. The short break prices shown below are for a 3-night stay with 2-3 people sharing a medium tipi, 4 in a large tipi and 7 in an extra large tipi. Extra persons, up to tipi maximum, as per pricing schedule below. Short breaks are available in peak season only in the first and last weeks or in the week of arrival if there has been a late cancellation. Please contact us for prices for 2, 4 or 5 night stays.

Please note that short break prices quoted below are inclusive of vat and per capita charges and that private site premiums apply to short breaks in the mid and peak seasons.

We offer the following discounts
For the second week of a fortnight’s booking the second week will attract a discount of 15%. For single parents, sole carer’s, who book a one-week holiday in low or mid season there is a 15% discount.

Early booking discount
We offer a discount on holidays booked this year for next year in that any holiday booked and paid for in full by the 30th November will be honoured at this year’s prices, any balance outstanding after that date will be subject to a price increase.

To be able to quote you the correct price and availability it would greatly assist us if you would give us the exact numbers of adults, children and their ages, and the dates you require. If you would like a brochure please enclose your full postal address. Please also let us know where you first heard about us. Thank you.

Terms and Conditions:
To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of £200 per tipi per week is required within 5 working days of making a provisional booking – within 24 hours if the provisional booking is made within one week of arrival. Confirmation of booking will be sent out, in writing, after the deposit has been received.

All balance payments are due to be paid in full no later than SIX weeks before arrival.

In the event of cancellation:
If the cancellation is more than six weeks before arrival and the balance has not been paid, the deposit will not be refunded. Alternatively the deposit can be off-set against a holiday to be taken at a different date later in the year, subject to availability and a £50 handling charge, or rolled over to the following year.

If the cancellation is more than six weeks before arrival and the balance has been paid then the total cost of the holiday will be refunded, less a handling charge of £50, ONLY if the booking is able to be re-let. If the booking cannot be re-let the cost will be refunded less a £100 handling charge Alternatively the cost of the holiday can be off-set against a holiday to be taken at a different date, subject to availability and a handling charge of £50.00, later in the year or rolled over to the following year.

If the cancellation is less than six weeks before arrival and the balance has not been paid the whole of the deposit is non-refundable, nor can it be offset against another date later in the year, nor can it be rolled over to the following year, except in exceptional circumstances and by arrangement with the owners.

If the cancellation is less than six weeks before arrival and the balance has been paid then the cost will not be refunded unless the booking can be re-let and then 50% will be refunded, nor can it be offset against another date later in the year, nor can it be rolled over to the following year, except in exceptional circumstances and by arrangement with the owners.

We ask visitors to arrive between 4 and 8 pm on Saturdays, other days by prior arrangement, and ask that you please contact the Warden direct or the office if you are substantially delayed ie more than one hour behind your notified arrival time. Visitors who arrive much later must be prepared not to be greeted at the site, but they will receive instructions on how to reach their tipi.
